Power Rangers: Brutal Force

Now, clearly the project’s not starting just yet, I might as well go ahead and give out information on my Power Ranger inspired fanfic that I’m going to be starting soon, Power Rangers: Brutal Force!

STORY

Long ago, back in the Medieval era, Belial, The Prince of Darkness has been defeated by several warriors such as, Elora, Bae Hee Young, Javier Salvador, Kameyo Hinotama, Rinzen, Shankara Mahavir and Xipil and they banded together to seal Belial away in an underground vessel, where he would be trapped there for a thousand years. Then two years later afterwards, Be’al-Zebos took over Belial’s duty, but his plan failed when he was ultimately killed and thus, their allies are sent to the same vessel where Belial was trapped in. Thousand years later, a group of underground explorers unexpectedly found an underground prison vessel, and while they’re researching it, they accidently opened it, thus, freeing Belial and his allies and they unfortunately escaped the prison. Upon their release, Belial’s main goal is to cause Armageddon on planet Earth. Meanwhile, Magenta (a.k.a. Jin Kyun-Soon) and her mentor Rosia has heard about this tragic moment and Rosia fears for Magenta about Belial and his minions may have the ability to kill her and lose her powers if she fights them alone. However, luckily, they decided to go for plan B as Rosia has kept several power coins for fighters that have strong will and are able to combat threats, so she decided to recruit six fighters worldwide to form a team and defend the world from Belial’s forces that harm Earth. Together, they are known as the Power Rangers, code name: Brutal Force.

THINGS TO TAKE NOTE
• Power Rangers Brutal Force will be pretty much like the Mighty Morphin series. In fact, this was inspired by watching the show to begin with, especially with the release of the Power Rangers movie, so that got me inspired to this even more.
• Also, unlike the Mighty Morphin and other Power Ranger series, PRBF will be in a dark-gritty adult tone, much like with the Brutal Fists/Epic Blades series having that sort of tone. Yeah, I’m talking about mature stuff like blood, violence, language, body slicings and decapitations, etc.
• The suits that the Power Rangers are gonna be wearing throughout the series are these suits from 1995 movie. Trust me, they are really much detailed suits and whatnot.
• On the topic of music, yes, there will be licenced music in PRBF, but here’s how it’ll go down. While there is gonna be original music in the fanfic, there will be at times hip-hop music, rock music, heavy death metal music, etc. throughout, no matter if they’re fighting or not.
• Oh yeah, and while clearly Magenta’s in this fanfic, there will be K-Pop music in there too.
• There’s a command center in the fanfic (the one I teased in the teaser trailer where it was all up for interpretation until then) which is a huge futuristic command room, all complete with holograms of stars surrounding the room and it even has a morphing grid in the middle. Think of that command center that is something coming out of Halo or Mass Effect.
• Also in that command center, there is actually a robot assistant much like Alpha 5, which is an OC entirely made up by me and he will be nowhere to be found in anyone’s OC fighter. I will go ahead and state about this original robot of mine. His name is Omega-10. Omega-10 is a red coloured robotic human sized droid who will be featured in the fanfic as well. I will have to upload a picture of what he looks like at some point before I start PRBF.
• Meanwhile, back on the topic of music, since some Epic Blades characters are in this, I will state however, that sometimes, there will be at occasional times, but not all the time, Two Steps From Hell music.
• And before you ask about if there’s gonna be any songs related to Power Rangers like Fight, 5-4-1, Go Green/White Ranger Go, White Ranger Tiger, etc. Yes! All of those will be featured in the fanfic whenever they’re fighting against demons and whatever.
• Speaking of Power Rangers music, the series is going to have a theme song and you know how it goes. The main theme song I’ve chosen for the fanfic is this. I figured that would be pretty fitting for the series, since it is for matured audience and everything.
• The tagline and slogan for the series is “The Chosen Six Are Tasked, To Save The Universe”.
• Speaking of which, the line “It’s Morphin Time!” is used a lot when the rangers prepare to morph. The line will usually be said by Jimmy Randalf, the White Ranger, since he’s the leader and everything, so he would sound badass when he ultimately commands it. If Jimmy’s not there or already morphed, Koby will say it instead and yeah, if both Jimmy and Koby are absent, then… F*ck it, any four can say the line.
• Do keep in mind however, that the style of the episodes are not gonna be how any other fanfic’s are, instead, the PRBF episodes are gonna be in dialogue, just like how it was in Brutal Fists story modes and other OC’s story modes have dialogues in. Well, PRBF is gonna have the same thing, so that’s whats gonna make the fanfic 10 times excitable, Period!
• Speaking of episodes, the episodes for PRBF are gonna have a total of 65 episodes in season 1. Seasons 2 and 3 are planned as well! But for now, we’re focusing on season 1.
• Plus, there will be some episodes that are similar to some episodes of the Power Rangers series (any series to be exact), but most of them will probably be original.
• Yes, since Magenta’s one of the main allies in the fanfic, she will be getting her own zord eventually. I wont give out what it’ll look like, but I’ll upload a picture at some point of what it looks like.
• Speaking of Zords, Jimmy Randalf will be controlling the White Tigerzord (as seen in season 2 of MMPR/Dairanger), while the other rangers will have their own Dino Zords (as seen in season 1 of MMPR/Zyuranger).
• Also, about Edmund Gareth as the Evil Green Ranger, it would be quite fitting for the Mad Alchemist to become the villainous ranger. But while Belial’s the big bad of the fanfic, Edmund won’t be having much of a feud with the Prince of Darkness, since Edmund’s just using the Dragonzord coin for himself, especially his Dragonzord that he’ll use to wreak havoc across city and lands. However, he will be losing his power coin to somebody that is in good will to use those powers temporarily, but if I name the person that will be the good Green Ranger, I might give the whole thing away, so I best not spoil it for you all.
• Speaking of morphers, the morphers that the Power Rangers will use will be the morphers shown in the original Mighty Morphin series and also Zyuranger. But, the first time they morph, the six will have to go through a morphing grid to use those powers for the first time, similar to how see those in Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie and the new Power Rangers movie.
• Carlos and Rina will eventually join the Power Rangers team as the Gold and Silver rangers.
• Yes, Jimmy Randalf and Karen Daisy will be in a relationship later on in the series.
• And one more thing about the fanfic, and before you ask, yes, Ogoleithus is 100% returning in PRBF but that is not until the season 1 finale, because I’m planning to have the demon god as the big bad of season 2, just like how Rita was the main villain of season 1 and Lord Zedd in season 2. Eventhough, Ogoleithus got his ass destroyed after Brutal Fists 2, but given that he is the goddamn CHAOS GOD, it depends whether or not Ogoleithus is permanently dead ambiguous. But other than that, he isn’t a threat in Season 1, since y’know.

IN CONCLUSION…

Well, it looks like I’m about to wrap things up with this journal, but also, I’m going right ahead and announce that the Story trailer for PRBF is in the works behind the scenes right now! So, once I’m on the final touches with the trailer, I will post it around this week, it just depends on when I manage to finish it.

Also, I may likely not start this fanfic until sometime in the summer, but I will go right away and announce that I am open to episode suggestions, so if anybody has any ideas for a plot of an episode whether it’s an episode based on a Power Ranger episode or completely original, feel free to do so. Episode suggestions are open until the end of April.

Plus, I might be like TheDeadlyRosered here, but is anybody here good with dialogues? Then if so, I was wondering if any of you could help me with dialogues for episodes for the fanfic, since I’m not really professional coming up with plots and whatnot, though I can occasionally, but not all the time, but it depends on how good if I can come up with something on the dialogue stuff.
